Detailed description

Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customer's description

Property comprises of Main Villa, Hill Top & outdoor garden, sports area including parking. In indoor swimming pool extreme humidity were monitored and controlled to safeguard electronic appliances (viz Large screen televisons) and interiors. KNX weather station installed with sensors for brightness, wind (speed, direction), precipitation, temperature, humidity, air pressure. Time reception (sun position). KNX IP Secure is used and parameterised to only transmit encrypted data. Elsner KNX SO250 are used for measurement of the fill level of liquids in tanks, for both tanks of water & diesel (for generator). Elsner CasaConnect KNX Central Unit is installed for graphic touch screen & integrated automatic functions. Different makes of air conditioners have been controlled using Intesis & Cala Touch KNX T 3.0 Room Controller with Temperature Sensor. Fabro KNX Touch Panel IP 66 protection used near outdoor pool for controlling entire landscape lighting, sound system and scenes.
