Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customer's description

Built on a 2,000m2 plot of land on a south western slope facing the oak covered hills of Fuhais. The site had four oak trees growing, the location of which were plotted carefully and the house was designed so that the trees would become part of the overall design form. The plan of the house was designed around the pool terrace which forms a continuation space with all main sitting areas on the ground floor thus creating a strong indoor outdoor relationship feeling. The pool terrace and garden represent a continuation of the internal spaces through the continuous glazed façade that separates the two entities.
