Detailed description

Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Customer's description

Bankwest Stadium is the first sporting arena of its type in Australia to be under full KNX control. It is a 30,000 seat, multi-purpose rectangular arena located in Sydney, Australia. Its unique seating design brings fans closer to the action than ever before. Fully integrated DMX LED sports lights are controlled via the KNX system to call up static lighting modes utilised for match lighting, training or simply cleaning of the venue after all the fans have departed as well as full theatrical production lighting shows synchronised to music and other visual effects. This has revolutionised the spectator experience and set new benchmarks for their future expectations. The government funded facility was built at a cost of AU$360 million dollars and took approximately 2 years to complete. By utilisation of the KNX platform, Bankwest Stadium is delivering word class experiences today, and is ready to evolve with the ever changing demands of tomorrow confidently.
