Detailed description

Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Customer's description

House project designed for KNX. 90% of lighting is DALI controlled (4 DALI lines). Curtains, blackouts and outdoor louvers integrated via RF (Somfy). Natural pool supplies water for garden watering, toilets and washing machines (water comes either from a natural pit or from the water company) VRF system integrated via Modbus IP KNX touch panels control all the room facilities Weather station info can change the time schedules of outside lighting and watering system. Presence detectors work for both lighting and security control Gourmet area drawers have sensors linked to the alarm system to warn about unexpected openings. Sauna is timer controlled for safety and economy. IoT integration allows wireless control of RGB led strips, RF gates control. KNX logic controller and webserver allows computer and mobile control apart from the logic controls for facilities (water, air renovation in pump house among others).
