Detailed description

Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

As a need for integrated solutions for lighting, HVAC, multimedia and intercom in office building, KNX has the opportunity for seamless integration and control of all project parts. The Thinknx supervision system is the best solution to have graphical control on all parts of the project and intercom connection. Also, it is possible to track the energy consumption in different zones using energy meters and ThinKNX charts. Automatic lighting and shutter control dependent on the natural light level is necessary in office buildings and the customer needs this extra feature as a solution for energy saving and personnel health.
