Energy Efficiency

The usage of automated functions already save energy in every installation. Especially the usage of KNX has a lot of potential for further energy savings, which can contribute to a better environmental footprint. Be extending KNX to more functions and applications, energy savings of up to 60% can be realised. Thanks to the flexibility of KNX, these functions can easily be implemented in this installation

Smart homes and buildings are always an upgrade in comparison to a conventional installation. Not only automated functions and a higher level of comfort contribute to a higher living standard, but also the possibility to be ready for coming innovations. Thanks to the usage of KNX, the door has been opened to integrate new innovative solutions, using the worldwide STANDARD for home and building control.

Customer's description

Questa azienda agricola è situata nella selvaggia e splendida campagna maremmana, ed è composta da una zona produttiva in cui vengono prodotti olio e miele, ed una zona abitativa in cui era già presente un sistema domotico mal progettato. Il progetto consisteva nel riprogrammare e far decollare ogni singolo dispositivo dell’impianto precedentemente realizzato da falsi professionisti della domotica. Grazie al mio intervento è stato possibile impostare dei modelli di funzionamento basati sulla stagione, riuscendo ad ottimizzare il risparmio energetico dell’abitazione. Non interrompere i ritmi di lavoro dell'azienda La sfida più grande è stata implementare il nuovo impianto a piccoli blocchi indipendenti. Nel periodo in cui ho lavorato a questo progetto infatti, l’azienda agricola era completamente funzionante e l’abitazione occupata. Non potevo insomma permettermi di lavorare in tranquillità senza il timore di disturbare i proprietari.
